This inlet filter protects your Inogen At Home machine from dust and debris in the air around you. Located on the back of the unit toward the top, it slides upward and off the concentrator when it's time to replace it.
This is the Inogen At Home's inlet air filter — not the sieve columns (which are internal cartridges that separate nitrogen from oxygen). If your machine displays "O2 Service Soon," you likely need sieve columns, not this filter.
Your machine will alert you when it's time to change this filter by displaying the "Service Needed" priority error indicator.
If you're not sure which error your Inogen At Home is displaying, contact our service department at 1-800-595-3551 for technical support.
How to change the filter
- Turn off and unplug your concentrator.
- Locate the filter on the back of the machine, near the top.
- Slide the filter upward to remove it from the concentrator.
- Insert the new filter from the top, sliding downward into place.
- Power on the concentrator and confirm the "Service Needed" indicator has cleared.
