ROVE 6 BATTERY OPTIONS:

*Based on oxygen flow setting of 2, a higher setting will use more battery power.

  • Small Battery - Lightweight 8-Cell Lithium Ion Battery (Up to 5 Hour Run-time)*
  • Large Battery - Double-Hour 16-Cell Lithium Ion Battery (Up to 9 Hour Run-Time)*

VIP FAA / AIRLINE NOTE:
The (FAA) Federal Aviation Administration requires oxygen users on board aircraft to carry 150% battery life to meet their oxygen needs while flying on all airlines. The flight hours must include not only time in the air but also layovers between legs of flights to your final destination airport.
For examples:
  • 6 hr non-stop flight will require 9 hrs of battery life......... (6 hrs X 150% = 9 hrs)
  • 8 hr one-stop-flight with a 2 hr layover requires 15 hrs of battery life......... (8 hrs + 2 hrs = 10 hrs X 150% = 15 hrs)

    LITHIUM-ION BATTERY:
Sometimes referred to as Li-ion battery or (LIB) is a member of a family of rechargeable battery types in which lithium ions move from the negative electrode to the positive electrode during discharge and back when charging. Li-ion batteries use an intercalated lithium compound as one electrode material, compared to the metallic lithium used in a non-rechargeable lithium battery. The electrolyte, which allows for ionic movement, and the two electrodes are the constituent components of a lithium-ion battery cell.

    Oxygen Flow and Concentration Levels

Regarding oxygen flow settings, the Inogen One Rove 6 offers six oxygen flow settings to accommodate different oxygen therapy needs. The settings range from 1 to 6, with 1 providing the lowest oxygen flow and 6 providing the highest. This flexibility allows you to adjust the oxygen delivery based on your activity level and prescription requirements. Whether engaging in a low-intensity or more strenuous activity, the Rove 6 has you covered.

Besides the adjustable flow settings, the Inogen One Rove 6 delivers oxygen with a concentration level of 90% ± 3% at all pulse settings. This ensures that you consistently receive the oxygen you need to support your respiratory system. The precise oxygen concentration provided by the Rove 6 gives you peace of mind, knowing that you are receiving the optimal amount of oxygen required for your therapy.

Flow Setting: Follow your prescribed oxygen dose and fine-tune!

Inogen One has labeled each of the six flow settings to provide a guideline for matching the setting of the Inogen Rove 6 to the continuous flow oxygen prescription issued by the healthcare provider. The setting should be fine-tuned based on the patient's breathing rate and other physiologic factors. Inogen and Main Clinic Supply suggest the patient check their blood oxygen levels using a pulse oximeter.  Then the patient can watch and adjust the oxygen flow setting in different situations; for example, if you are sitting and relaxing, you most likely can adjust the oxygen setting down, and when taking a brisk walk, you most likely will need to adjust to a higher oxygen setting.

VIP: If you do notFind Your Oxygen Flow Setting have an oxygen pulse oximeter Main Clinic Supply will provide one at no charge.  It is important for you to have one of these small devices to know your blood oxygen level so you can find your setting for your activity, especially when you and your new Inogen One Rove 6 portable oxygen concentrator are getting to know each other.

    Inogen One Rove 6 Features

The Inogen One Rove 6 gives you the freedom to do anything, even while using your oxygen concentrator. Its portability and ease of use are winning new fans every day. Here are some of the features that have made the Rove 6 stand out in user reviews.

It’s so popular with oxygen users because of its:

    Performance

The Inogen One Rove 6 oxygen concentrator machine has the longest battery life and one of the highest oxygen outputs of any portable concentrator on the market.  Perfect for traveling, shopping, or even staying active around the home.

    Intelligent Oxygen Delivery

With the Inogen One Rove 6’s Intelligent Delivery Technology®, a measured dose of oxygen is delivered as and when you need it. You can rely on this technology for all your daily activities and during sleep. It detects every breath automatically, dispensing the amount of oxygen you need immediately.

Don’t worry about when you’re asleep, either. Respiratory rates generally decrease when asleep, but Inogen One’s triggering signal sensitivity and pulse volume ensure you get enough oxygen, even with shallow mouth breaths.

This technology increases each bolus dose accordingly, based on a fixed minute volume. Innovations like these have made Inogen such a popular and top-selling brand.

    Oxygen Purity Monitoring

The Inogen One Rove 6 warning symbols are easy to see on the backlit LCD. The unit constantly monitors oxygen purity to deliver the healthiest air.

FAA Approved for In-flight use on aircraft

The Ingoen Rove 6 meets all FAA criteria for use in the air.

Specific FAA requirements state that a POC must not radiate high levels of electromagnetic interference or give off sounds louder than 80 decibels. The device must supply adequate oxygen to the user and contain fail-safe features to prevent sudden oxygen loss.

POCs undergo rigorous testing to receive airworthiness certification from the FAA. Concentrators must prove capable of supplying therapeutic oxygen in simulated flight conditions that replicate changes in cabin pressure, humidity, and altitude.

The Inogen Rove 6, like other FAA-approved models, contains advanced sensors and alarms to monitor oxygen production. If any issue is detected, visual, audible, and vibratory alerts immediately activate so the user is aware.

    Travel Friendly

The Rove 6 is designed to go from at-home use to on-the-go use. It’s portable and travel-friendly with an AC power supply that converts automatically to the correct voltage in different countries with different voltage requirements.

When out on the town, use the Rove 6 carry bag with a padded shoulder strap to keep your oxygen unit close.

Here are some excerpts from Medicare and/or Insurance terminology:

“While Medicare will pay for items that are adequate and effective to meet the medical needs of the Medicare beneficiary, Medicare will not pay for convenience or luxury features.”

“any item that has particular convenience or luxury features, electrical or mechanical features that enhance the standard or basic Medicare allowed medical equipment usually serves a convenience function”
