Check Cannula Concentrator has not detected a breath for 60 seconds. Check that cannula is connected to concentrator, there are no kinks in tubing and cannula is positioned properly in your nose.
Oxygen Error Oxygen output concentration has been below 50% for 10 minutes. If condition persists, switch to your backup oxygen source and If issue persists contact Inogen Authorized Repair Center (see below)
O2 Delivery Error A breath has been recognized, but proper oxygen delivery has not been detected.
Battery HOT Warning Battery has exceeded temperature limit while concentrator is running on battery power. If possible, move concentrator to a cooler location or power unit with an external power supply and remove battery. If condition persists, contact your equipment provider.
System Error Concentrator is experiencing an error but is capable of continued operation. Remove and re-insert battery and/ or check external power supply connections. If condition persists, contact your equipment provider.

Battery Empty Attach Plug The oxygen concentrator's battery is low. Please connect it to an external power source or replace the battery. You may need to restart the device by pressing the On/Off button after connecting to power.
Battery HOT Battery has exceeded temperature limit while concentrator is running on battery power. Concentrator has stopped producing oxygen. If possible, move concentrator to a cooler location, then turn power off and back on. Ensure air intake and outlet vents have clear access and particle filters are clean. If condition persists, switch to a backup source of oxygen and Contact Authorized Inogen Repair Center (see below)..
System HOT Concentrator temperature is too high and oxygen production is shutting down. Ensure air intake and outlet vents have clear access and particle filters are clean. If condition persists, switch to a backup source of oxygen and Contact Authorized Inogen Repair Center (see below).

Replace Columns The oxygen concentrator needs routine  column maintenance within the next 30 days. Please Contact Authorized Inogen Repair Center (see below).
Check Battery There is an issue with the oxygen concentrator's battery connection. Please check that the battery is properly attached and latched onto the device. If you continue to get the battery error with the same battery, stop using that battery and switch to a new one or remove the battery and run the concentrator using an external power source instead.
Oxygen Low The oxygen concentrator has been producing oxygen at a slightly low flow rate (less than 82%) for 10 minutes. If this lower oxygen production continues, please Contact Authorized Inogen Repair Center (see below).
Remove Battery to Cool The oxygen concentrator's battery has exceeded its safe charging temperature, so charging has stopped. The battery will not charge while this alert is active, but will resume charging when the temperature returns to normal. To charge the battery sooner, remove it from the device and let it cool down in an open space for 10-15 minutes. After cooling, reinsert the battery. If the overheating issue continues, please Contact Authorized Inogen Repair Center (see below).
Service Soon The oxygen concentrator needs to be serviced when convenient. It is currently operating as expected and can continue being used. Please Contact Authorized Inogen Repair Center (see below) to schedule routine maintenance on the device.
Sensor Fail

The oxygen concentrator's oxygen sensor is not working properly. You can keep using the device for now. If this sensor malfunction continues, please contact Authorized Inogen Repair Center (see below) for assistance.

Description What To Do

System HOT: Concentrator temperature is too high. The concentrator will shut down and stop producing oxygen. Ensure intake and outlet vents are clean. If condition persists, switch to a backup source of oxygen and contact your equipment provider.

Remove battery to cool: The battery needs to be removed and must be cooled before reuse. Remove the battery to cool it down.
Check battery: Check battery. Check the connection of your battery and ensure that it is properly attached and latched to the concentrator. If the battery error persists with the same battery, stop using the battery and use an external power supply or replace the battery with a fully charged one.
Replace columns: Column replacement is required within 30 days. Contact your equipment provider to arrange for service and/or order new columns from the manufacturer.
Extended start up: Oxygen concentration is <87% two minutes after the device's start up sequence and at least 10 breaths have been detected within the last minute. Wait a few minutes to see if the oxygen concentration improves (alarm will clear). If condition persists, follow the instructions for that alarm or contact your equipment provider.
