These removable particle filters cover the air intake screens on your Inogen concentrator and filter out airborne contaminants from the room air before it reaches the unit.
Gently wash these filters with warm soapy water once a week, and let them air dry fully before putting them back in place. This keeps proper airflow into your concentrator.
Replace the filters every six months — or sooner if the screen is damaged or the filter is misshapen.
How to clean the filters
- Turn off your concentrator before removing the filters.
- Remove the particle filters from the air intake screens.
- Gently wash each filter with warm soapy water.
- Rinse thoroughly and let them air dry completely — do not put them back wet.
- Once dry, reinsert the filters and resume normal use.
