These ultra-soft high-flow nasal cannulas are made from a new soft material that greatly reduces the pain, irritation, and discomfort associated with traditional cannulas. They're DEHP-free and latex-free, with crush- and kink-resistant construction. The high-flow tubing supports oxygen flows up to 15 LPM — a wider range than standard cannulas.
Standard cannulas are typically rated to about 6 LPM. You need high-flow cannulas if your prescription requires more than 6 LPM, or if you're using a high-output concentrator (10 LPM or higher).
If your prescription is 5 LPM or less, the standard 7-foot ultra-soft cannulas will work — and they're often more comfortable for low-flow use.

These cannulas are disposable and should be changed every 2 to 3 weeks to prevent irritation and the buildup of bacteria — which can lead to respiratory infections.
