An oxygen concentrator tubing is a flexible tube that delivers oxygen from an oxygen concentrator to you. The tubing is essential to the oxygen delivery system, as it connects the oxygen concentrator to your nose or mouth.
Concentrator tubing typically has a universal connector on one end that can be attached to any oxygen concentrator nozzle or oxygen delivery device and a nasal cannula or face mask on the other end that you place over your nose or mouth.
You should replace tubing regularly to prevent the tubing from becoming brittle, cracked, or otherwise damaged, which can compromise the oxygen delivery system's efficacy and safety.
Oxygen concentrator tubing
Our Oxygen concentrator tubing is made of a non-toxic, medical-grade PVC material that is safe for human use. It is lightweight and flexible, making it easy to move around and adjust to your needs.
The tubing is designed to meet safety standards for medical devices, including being latex-free to prevent allergic reactions.
Length
Main Clinic Supply carries various lengths of tubing for your convenience. Our 7-foot tubing may be adequate for your needs. However, if you need to move around large areas of a house or yard, our 25-foot tubing will give you the freedom of movement that you need.
Material
Our oxygen concentrator tubing is made of medical-grade PVC (polyvinyl chloride). These materials are safe for use in medical settings. They can withstand the flow of concentrated oxygen without degrading or causing any issues.
PVC is lightweight, flexible, and durable. At the same time, polyurethane is known for its resistance to kinking and twisting, making it ideal for longer tubing runs.
Color
Oxygen tubing is usually transparent, which allows you to see if there is any condensation or moisture inside the tubing. Most people use standard clear tubing. However, those with impaired vision may find clear tubing hard to see. That’s one of the reasons we carry a stock of green oxygen tubing.
Green tubing for oxygen concentrators is more easily seen by people vulnerable to tripping.
In a medical setting, oxygen concentrator tubing is green to help differentiate it from other types of medical tubing and make it easier to identify as oxygen tubing.
Oxygen concentrator cannulas
A soft nasal cannula, also called an oxygen concentrator nosepiece, is a type of oxygen delivery device that consists of two small, flexible plastic tubes that fit into your nostrils. The prongs of a soft nasal cannula are made of a soft, pliable material such as silicone or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) that is comfortable for you to wear for extended periods.
Our Soft oxygen concentrator nasal cannulas are designed to be gentle on the skin. Their lightweight construction makes them easy to wear and move around with.
You can adjust the oxygen flow rate delivered through a soft nasal cannula based on your needs. We stock cannulas that deliver between 1 and 6 liters per minute, while our high-flow cannulas support oxygen flow up to 15 LPM.
Swivel Connectors
Oxygen concentrator tubing accessories include swivel connectors that connect oxygen tubing to your oxygen delivery system. Swivel connectors rotate 360 degrees and help prevent twisting and tangling of tubing, particularly when you move around.
SalterLabs Swivel Connectors, made from durable plastic, are latex-free and provide a leak-free seal to ensure you receive the oxygen you need.
