This inlet filter protects your Stratus 5 Stationary Concentrator from dust and debris in the air around you. Located on the back of the machine in a removable cover, it's easy to change when it's time.
This is the Stratus 5's inlet filter — replaced once a year, not the washable cabinet filter (which is cleaned weekly with warm water). If you need the washable filter, look for "Stratus 5 Cabinet Filter."
Change this filter at least once a year, or sooner if you notice dust and debris built up on the filter. Do not wash this filter — it's designed to be replaced, not cleaned.
How to change the filter
- Turn off and unplug your concentrator.
- Locate the removable cover on the back of the machine.
- Remove the cover to access the inlet filter.
- Remove the used filter and dispose of it.
- Insert the new filter, replace the cover, and resume normal use.
